Approaching Your Dream 100

Wasn’t it Wayne Gretzky who said: “you miss 100% of the shots your never take?”

The same idea holds true, whether we talk about sports, speaking or business.

Are you going after you dreams or waiting for fate?

ie. Depending on referrals or word of mouth?

…wishing for SEO fairy dust to a magically blow in your Prince Charming client?

Now, I believe in all forms of marketing; inbound and outbound… branding and direct marketing… even hope, prayer and referral!

But I also believe in being intentional and being proactive.

in not waiting for permission, but boldly approaching the people you want to work with and throwing out your best offer.

This is how I’ve spoken 3x at the largest marketing conference in the word.

This is the approach that I consult with B2B clients who are looking for predictable growth.

Did you know you that if you were to list out your dream 100 clients, you could likely find, connect and message 80–90% of them?

And if you did… don’t you think a few of them would respond and dialogue with you?

But nothing will happen if you never try.

Of course you need to have the skills to research and get their info.

You need to know how to message them in a way that provokes curiosity, interest, and response.
