Politics, Power, and Pride
What happens when you don’t need power?
…when you’re not asking for acceptance, permission, or praise?
Not needy for likes, fans, and followers.
Sure, many claim none of this is important.
Instead, we call it, purpose.
Impact or maybe our “calling.”
Spiritual or moral wrapping on the same underlying drive.
Power.
Influence.
Ego.
We want to control our fate… or be in a position to shape the lives of others in the name of …
love?
God?
Some righteous indignation.
or a conviction of XYY?
Idk…
I’m starting to see a similar thread in all sorts of behavior and activity, regardless of what it looks like on the surface.
We live in an age where everyone has the ability the be a media company.
To be “famous” or “influential” in some respect…
And now… we’re entering the Olympics of online activity…
Where every four years, we not only post/share/speak about our lives, businesses, non-profits, or grand missions… we now find alignment and directedness to make it all political!
We’re heading deeper into the political circus or season…
Add the influences of AI-generated media both foreign and domestic…
AI that knows what buttons to push, whether real or fabricated… the typical response is the same.
99% of people will be moved by it.
The algo/ai will find what strings to pull.
If your best friends and trusted brands say it, like it, share it… you’re likely to believe it, feel it, and reshare it.
It pulls on your spiritual, moral, national, racial, or familial strings.
I wish I could offer an answer… but I’m just processing in public.
But hoping that awareness can prompt consciousness.
To be a little less asleep…
To see more clearly and become a bit more discerning.
Create a Great Day!
